FAQs

Why is there an additional cost for the STEM program?
Alberta Education funds only half-time Kindergarten. The additional fee ensures the program is self-sustainable and covers the cost of staffing, supplies, and activities for the full-day option.

Is there a subsidy available for the STEM program?
Unfortunately, no subsidies are available, as this program is not covered under government grants.

Can my child attend only the STEM program?
No. Students must also be registered in either the Regular Kindergarten or French Immersion Kindergarten program. The STEM Kindergarten serves as a complementary program, making it a full-time kindergarten option.

What if I prefer the regular kindergarten schedule?
Families who do not wish to participate in the STEM program can enroll their child in the half-time Regular Kindergarten program, which alternates days and costs $150 per year.
